SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN

This campaign was started by our Prime MInister Shri. Narendra Modi on 2 Oct 2014, Gandhi Jayanti. Cleanliness is vital for our health and well-being. It means keeping our surroundings and ourselves free from dirt and germs. When we maintain cleanliness, we ward off diseases and create a pleasant environment. Clean homes and streets make us feel positive and energetic, and our approach is to clean our area and our place.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was announced by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Indian Independence Day & launched on 2 Oct 2014, Gandhi Jayanti. On this day, Modi addressed the citizens of India in a public gathering held at Rajghat, New Delhi, India and asked everyone to join this campaign. Then we started this campaign and we worked on it. It was a successful campaign for us, we distributed dustbin in many area in New Delhi. We started this campaign from New Seelampur then we distributed this dustbin in many slum areas. We got a really good response from public, and we had a very successful campaign.
